Некоторые мои знакомые неоднократно говорили мне, что они не поклонники металла или хард-рока, но если бы я выпустил такую пластинку, они бы с удовольствием ее слушали. Вот я и решил ответить на их просьбы. И хотя это не написанные мной песни, а просто каверы, я считаю, что баллады - это круто. Когда мне сказали: "А почему бы тебе не записать альбом баллад?", я подумал, что это отличная идея, и созвонился с представителями лейбла. Им эта задумка тоже пришлась по душе, они ответили: "А почему бы и нет, давай попробуем". Первый сборник баллад вышел в 1993 году и имел большой успех в Германии и даже за ее пределами. Людям понравилось. Эти сборники раскрывают другую сторону моего характера, я считаю, что это здорово.
